I was going to purchase the Montana, but found out it is made of particle board with a thin layer of veneer on the top. I decide to purchase another brand made of solid maple, which I know will last a lifetime. If you're going to buy the conversion kits and toddler rail, you might as buy an all wood crib. Particle board is not going to last.

My father in law purchased this dresser for us and I love the look. Our baby is not due until May so we have not used it yet. The dresser comes in one piece so if you order it be sure you have the vehicle to pick it up, we had to get a U-Haul to get it home. It also has a safety feature to attach it to the wall so prevent it falling over on the baby, it is super heavy so I don't see this being very easy but it is a nice feature. Once I start using it I will update my review if I feel differently. It looks and feels like good quality furniture that isnt going to break right away, doesn't look cheap.

This dresser is exactly what we were looking for! It looks great and has a good amount of room. We are using it as a changing table. My husband and I are both on the tall side (5'11" and 6'3") and we won't bend down too far to change diapers. I am a little worried about moving it when we move to another state (very heavy), but I'm happy with the quality and the height (what matters to us most). We also got the matching crib, which we love!

Ordered this dresser (a match to our crib) and picked up in store. A teenage girl helped bring it out to the car on a dolly. She was careful putting it into the car, so I don't think any damage occured there. We had two big guys lift it out of the car (it comes fully assembled so it's about 160 lbs). If we had stairs, I would have been very concerned.

Anyway, it LOOKS beautiful, but one of the drawers was hanging off-kilter. From the front view, it was super obvious and looked defective. That's when I found out the "safety feature" others have mentioned is that the drawers DON'T COME OUT! What if you lose a piece of clothing back there? Oh well. You aren't getting it back. Seems silly.

Told the store it was messed up and they asked us to pack it back up and bring it back. Took it back in and they acted unphased / not surprised, marked it "defective" and took it in the back, giving us a refund. I didn't dare order another for fear the same thing would happen. Who wants to pick up and pack up something so heavy multiple times, only to have it be damaged?

Come to find out that Baby Cache is part of a company that offers 3 levels of quality. This is the middle ground. Munire is the high level, and isn't that far off on pricing. Then Baby Cache, then Suite Bebe (look it up online to find out where that's sold - can't say here). The differences are very subtle, but worth considering.

Suite Bebe uses Rubberwood (very cheap) and it is a bit larger (60" wide instead of 56" wide with Baby Cache) and a bit deeper (20" deep instead of 18.5 inches deep with Baby Cache). They LOOK identical, at least for this model.

Baby Cache brand is famous for using misleading names for their wood types (ie. shortening "Asian Mahogany" to just "Mahogany" so you think the quality is better...it's not).

Munire is highest quality and LOOKS it. The only drawback I find is that they don't offer a color called Espresso, so you're left trying to figure out from brochures which wood stain matches your Baby Cache crib...or at least I am.

Overall, won't order from Babies R Us again. I just don't think the customer service is up to par for selling furniture which is a big investment you want to LAST.

Comes already assembled, so it is VERY heavy. but the quaility is there. Dovetail drawers so the drawer face can't get pulled off. the drawers are locked in, so you can't pull them out (good for baby to not get hurt. bad cuz you can't take them out to have less weight for moving it upstairs). wood design is pretty. Good for a girl or a boy, we're having a boy. We also bought the matching crib, which we love.

Tons of storage space to be used as changing station for infants and will grow with baby providing lots of clothing storage throughout the years. Comes well packaged and protected and already assembled. Drawers have safety feature.
