I finally had to get rid of my old cheap-o umbrella stroller and upgrade, since my kids are now 2 and 4. I chose this one for its higher weight limit, and I love it! It drives like a dream, it is so smooth and easy to push--I can even get it through a store door one-handed no problem! It is sturdy enough to keep my diaper bag hooked over the handle without tipping the stroller, and is lightweight--easy to open and close and load in the car. It is also comfy for my husband to push (he is 6'4"). The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the basket is a bit small. It does fit little things (kids sweaters, snack, toy, etc) which is all I need--I use this for everyday errands. I have a bigger Joovy for more substantial outings. Also, the seat in this does lean back a bit more than other strollers, but each of my kids ride comfortably in it, so if they aren't complaining why should I? :) I would definitely recommend this stroller!

OK, this is a great lightweight stroller for what it is. HOWEVER, the seat does not sit fully upright and is not comfortable for an older child. I can see how it could work for a baby, but not for toddlers! I'm not sure what child would like to sit in a reclined position while out and about.

I actually sent it back to Maclaren to see if it was a user error, but nope- they said this is the way this seat is. Despite the fact that the Volo, Quest, and Techno all sit upright. TERRIBLE experience.

Comments about Maclaren Triumph Stroller - Navy/Champagne:

I went through three cheap strollers with my firstborn before buying a Maclaren. I wish I'd started with that! This fourth, and final stroller, not only survived child number one, but also served for numbers two and three. It's currently in the basement to be passed on to the the next baby that needs it.

Concerning the critique that the child is not sitting straight up: I think it's because children, whose backs are still forming, are more comfortable in the stroller - especially for long periods - if their back is slightly reclined (it's not like their lying down!).

Folds quickly, with one hand (the other full of diaper bag or struggling/sleeping child) and easily fits into the trunk of a car. What more do you need?

Comments about Maclaren Triumph Stroller - Navy/Champagne:

The stroller is very light and pushes smoothly but we ould not figure out how to sit the stroller in the upright position. The under carriage is also difficult to put items in and out of it. The price was not too bad but highly priced for an item of this performance. This stroller ruined our day because we wanted to get many things done with it immediately after the purchase. Nonetheless, our son got sick of reclining and we couldn't blame him, so he was exploring the furniture store and walking with us as we shopped for a new bedroom set.

Comments about Maclaren Triumph Stroller - Navy/Champagne:

The first time I saw the stroller I thought wow this is a light stroller. That was what I was looking for. My son AIden , is almost 3 yrs and I needed to get a stroller that I can have in the back of my car, so when Aiden falls asleep I can pull it out and have him rest asleep. The things that are great about this stroller is how far back it leans back to have a nap. It also have a little cushion on the back so the stroller does not feel like a hard surface. Things that are not so great about it is the space underneath the seat. I personally think I need more space for all the toys and things that I carry around for Aiden. I can only fit the strollers' rain protector which I use it for the winds and of course the rain. If this product would need to improve it would be in that perspective of the space underneath the stroller. We mothers also like carrying either toys or snacks for our kids and having enough space is what we always need.

Other than that, I am satisfy with this product......it is very useful, like I said the fact that it is not heavy helps me a whole bunch. I can get on the train and carry him with the stroller and still be okay with the weight.

I hate this stroller. My perception of Maclaren strollers was very high...until I purchased this. My son was uncomfortable and it is difficult to enjoy. The basket was small and extremely hard to access. The seat is too small and the back rest is always somewhat reclining. I had high hopes or this stroller. I find that the price was reasonable. It was also very lightweight. I'm bringing this stroller back tomorrow. If I could afford the next model I would...just very disappointd with this one.
