This was a waste of money,time,and effort. My son broke the entire block up to find only two or three small I mean really small pieces that crumbled when we tried to look at them. Do not waste your money on this product you kids will be disappointed and you will still have a mess to clean up.

My son had done the Rock and Gem kit and loved it so we bought this. It took a while to get through the block but he found 4 or 5 pretty big pieces of "gold". He was excited. He keeps the colection on his night stand. The sets come with a big color poster with some interesting info about gold too. I would suggest doing this out on the deck or driveway as it can be a bit messy. This is another great Do and Discover Product.

My son dug the block apart and there was 1 tiny piece of brownish red colored clay that crumbled like sand when he try to grab it and a mess of crumbled gray dust to clean up!! There was no Fool's Gold in there, I was the only Fool for purchasing it!!
