This kit did not come with all the parts that are on the inventory list. That was the first fault. It is very cheaply made and the wires to the motor were not saudered on very good. While building the fan the black wire became diconnected from the sauder and then it was useless! It is getting returned tonight!

I bought this for my son. We did the first three experiments. They were fine. But the instructions are almost impossible to read, and the accompanying photos are so small that you need an actual magnifying glass to see what they are showing. We got to the fourth experiment, and it won't work. It's a transistor experiment. We can't get the fan to work with the transistor. The fan worked just fine for the third experiment. Then we tried the fifth experiment, and it also didn't work. All of the remaining experiments build on the fourth and fifth. So we're not even going to bother with them. We'll probably throw the thing in the trash or give it to his teacher, who will probably throw it in the trash.

Purchased the product with the intent of placating an inquisitive mind. The quality of the product left much to be desired. Being that it was the only electronic experimental toy, it was the only option for the item I was looking for. The toy's low quality pieces did not serve well for a learning experience.
