      Comments about Harmony Kids Madagascar 3 Bean Chair:

      This wasn't quite what I was expecting when I ordered a "bean bag" chair. It was smaller than average and the "beans" are quite large with a definite "plastic" smell. I'm also leery of its durability as it is covered with regular cotton fabric and not the thicker covering most bean bag chairs have, so I'm concerned it might get ripped and end up a hazard. I may make an inner liner for it to add extra protection.

      My son can't "sink into it" like you would a typical bean bag chair, but he still loves to dive at it and will likely still get used to lean against and toss around. He is not quite 2. We will be keeping it since it was quite reasonably priced and matches his room.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        We purchased this beanbag for our grandson who is 22mo old and loves to have his "own" chair for reading books. Not too big or too small. He loved it from the minute he opened it up. Very nice and easy to store also.
