This storage case is awesome. It holds many skylanders and the portal, too. What i love the most is that my son loves it, too. He always makes sure to put all his skylanders back in it when he's done playing with them.

My 5 year old son just began collecting Skylanders before last Christmas, and his collection quickly grew to 5 Giants and 30 regular size Skylanders. They all fit in this case, albeit 30 standing up, and the last 5 laying across the tops of others...but hey, they're all in one spot, and it helps him take care of them.
We don't keep the portal in the bag...we keep 3 Giants in that compartment.

I bought this for my five year old son to hold his Skylanders and it is working out great. He has a cool looking bag to put them in and he can use it to bring them to a friends house, or just to bring them around the house or store them. He loves the bag which is half the battle. It is sturdy and has a compartment to put the portal in as well. I recommend it!

Everything went as planned. Not only was it on sale, but I received an additional discount because it was on clearance. I saved S&H because I went to the store to pick it up.

Our son has almost all of the Skylanders, and can fit most of them in this case, but definitely not all especially now with the Giants having been released, that being said, it's been pretty sturdy as he drags it all over the place, stuffed to the gills (holding more than it was designed to). It holds more than either of the other cases released. I'd like to have a case that holds them all too, but probably not practical for the child to lug such a heavy pack around. If you're looking for a case to hold them all - opt for the licensed Skylanders backpack instead.

My 7 year old son loves all things skylander. Finding a place to store all the characters and portal of power is difficult. I was hopful that this duffle bag like case would fit the bill but it doesn't. He can cram them all in and barely close it but the portal of power doesn't fit. I don't understand how the company can sell 3 different cases but none can hold all the characters.
