This product is a total con. It says 7" but that is the full screen size not the size of the monitor screen. You cannot make the baby view full screen. Do not but this item if you want a big screen monitor. Also the screen image is very poor. A cheap web cam is better quality I think and that costs a few dollars. This item was bought for me as a gift but I wouldnt but it if I had the choice.

Horrible monitor. Sound cuts out and stays out. The manual is geared towards it being more of a digital frame than a baby monitor, which, if you are looking for a monitor it doesnt make sense...I already have a digital frame in my house, I dont need one on my baby monitor. Even when you first plug it in, the first words are "Digital Frame" and then monitor. The digital frame part takes up over half the screen, so if you dont load any pictures and just want to view the baby, you have a blank area on the left side of the screen because video feed cannot be put into full screen! Ridiculous. Instruction manual does not explain how to use the product very well either, its confusing, and explains mostly how to use the digital frame or MP3 features. Monitor does not have battery power so if you want to carry it around with you to different areas of the house, you have to plug it in wherever you go. Plus its huge, so you are carrying around this big 7" screen. The picture quality is eh, you can somewhat see the baby in night mode, but not as well as other monitors I have seen. Day time is so-so, not totally in color, but not black and white, kind of in between. But with the sound cutting out after 2 minutes of being turned on, your baby could be crying and you will never know it! I hate to even give this one star, but you cannot rate it no stars.

The picture quality is awful, especially at night. You can't tell a baby's head from their rear. The sound cuts out, and stays out the majority of the time. The picture does not blow up to the full screen, so you are left with a digital picture frame and nothing more. If you can't see OR hear your child with this system, then what's the point? Do not recommend.

First off I called babies r us help line and spoke with a representative because the product description is so vague and I wanted to know if the video feed could be blown up to full screen. The customer service rep said it could so I ordered it and what do u know, I'm stuck with a tiny grainy video feed that cannot be expanded to full screen. Oh yea the sound cuts off and on when it feels like it. Taking it back to store tomorrow. My cell phone has a bigger screen shot.

We brought a new house and the master bedroom is down stairs and our kids our upstairs. We have a 16 month old so we wanted to get a video monitor so we can see when he gets up. Well I saw this one and it was not even out for 3 more days so I preordered it, the first one I got was defected had to go to babies r us a hour away return it so I could get story credit so I didn't have to wait for the money to go back on. Then had to go back online and order another one. I had to sleep upstairs until the new one came. The cam blows you can't even see the baby clear. When its day light the picture is blurry n red at night it is so blurry I had to put two night lights in so I could make sense of what I was looking at. Also the sound goes in and out and not just for a second some times a few minutes. Thank god I had our other monitor bc I was able to use that for sound. Do not buy.

Great item can sit on the kitchen counter or my office desk and listen to music, look at picture slide show and view baby all at the same time. No one has a monitor like this.

Leave it to Motorola to come up with this item. It also is using Dect technology which is the safest securest connection there is.

Love it - only downside is the picture of the video of baby cant be blown up full screen.
