ALEX TOYS-Yarn Craft Kit. Learn to knit a colorful scarf or hat with this fun kit! It has everything beginners need to learn simple stitches including six balls of yarn (50 yards each); two wooden knitting needles; one crochet hook; one plastic needle; and easy-to-follow instructions. It all comes housed in a sturdy reusable 5-1/2x11x5-1/2 inch cardboard box. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Conforms to ASTM F963. Imported.

    Do not be deceived by the product photo. You will not receive what is pictured. Instead of a knitting kit in a wicker basket, you will receive the kit in a cheap, cardboard box. You can buy the boxed kit for $10 less online. Alex Toys has apparently discontinued the wicker basket kit, but they send you the cheaper version at the more expensive price. Very disappointing. I cannot review the actual knitting kit because I returned it.

      Do not be deceived by the photo of this item. You will not receive what is pictured. Instead of an attractive wicker basket, the kit is packaged in a cheap cardboard box. The boxed kit can be found online for $10 less. Alex Toys has obviously discontinued the wicker basket, but delivers the cheaper alternative for the same price as the nicer item. Very disappointing. I cannot comment on the actual kit, because I returned the item.
