I have 4 of hese cuz i loved the designs. My daughter couldnt get anything out. I finally figured out why. After cleaning when putting the cup together, try to sip thru the soft straw... If is hard turn the straw a quarter turn or so, then try again, that should fix it!

We havnt used these much yet since i just figured that out and have owned them for months haha

Since my daughter learned to drink from a straw we bought this as its one of the few that fits in her stroller, its VERY HARD to put the straw piece back through the opening, LEAKS everytime it drops, or if its sideways, & within 5 minutes the liquid is luke warm, so NOT insulated like it claims, waste of money! ITs also a bit hard to get the liquid out

This product was the easiest of the other products I tried in teaching my son to drink through a straw. The others seemed to require a lot more suction to get a drink. It doesnt "spill" however the liquid begins to leak from the straw when turned upside down and a couple I had actually leaked around the top. This seems to get worse over time. Now that he has no problem with getting the juice I have switched to another brand.

I like the way these sippy cups look, but they tend to be drippy. If you put the straw in wrong the valve doesn't work properly, which isn't a problem I've had with any other brand of cup.

We love the Munchkin Straw cups. We tried all sorts of other brands and this is the ONLY one that does not leak. Yes, as stated in the other review, when you flip the straw open if there is juice left in the straw, it can splash you, but I would rather be splashed than end up with a bag of spilt juice! This new design with the click lock and insulation is really nice. My daughter loves these cups and went straight from breast feeding to these. Won't buy anything else.

We don't recommend this at all to start off with, it's pretty difficult to sip/drink out of the straw. Our daughter is 100 % able to do it but she has to put more energy in getting it to work correctly.

The stars are for the cute print.

As for leaks, this one is the worst of them all. We've never seen leaks as bad as this one.

You have to pop the pieces that holds the straw in and out to get the straw in, it's annoying and takes extra time to do it.

It is not durable, that piece that that straw holds pops on and off pretty easy when the cup is thrown down.

Our biggest issue with this cup is the splashing. That's right, I said splashing ! When you open it up it splashes you, our daughter always looks away from it if we ever use it.
