chair ships already assembled... Sits very comfortably. my husband is 5'7 and I'm 5'2 and its a perfect size for us. We can both sit with our back to the back of the chair and feet on the ground, this was important to me. Its hard to find a comfy chair that fits us so well. The back comes up to my husbands shoulders when he's sitting. So it's not a chair you can lay your head back in. We knew that when we ordered it. Our nursery was small, and thus was the best fitting glider I could find. It glides very smoothly and it also allows for 360 swiveling, which I love. The color is like a chocolate.. I love it. The cushion is firm and the fabric is soft to the touch but it's sturdy. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. Can't wait yo rock our little one in it!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this glider for the nursery. Our baby is not here yet but my husband and I have been using it. This glider is great for small nurseries and for your husband. I read a lot of reviews for other gliders and most of them said their glider broke from the weight of there husband. I also like that it swivels and the fabric is nice and soft and easy to clean.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
