Keep your active toddler and pets safely confined in one area and protected from falls and other potential dangers in the home with the Swing Closed Security Gate. This versatile, pressure-mounted gate fits a range of doorways, stair openings, and hallways, making it a great choice for use throughout your home.

Expandable Design for Doorways, Hallways, and Stairs

The gate stands 29.5 inches tall and can expand from 28 to 32 inches. This gate can also expand up to 188 inches with purchase of larger extensions (each sold separately). Mounting cups are mandatory for top of stair use.

Stays Open Until You Close It

The safety gate meets the needs of active parents and caregivers by making it easy to keep your child and pets in one area without limiting your own mobility. The gate swings open smoothly in both directions, then automatically closes and locks to allow parents carrying children to enter and exit with ease. A lower latch provides additional security.

Automatically Closes and Locks

One-Hand Operation with Double-Locking System

This safety gate can be operated with one hand, making it easy for parents to move in and out of the room. Simply slide the button on the top to unlock, pull up, and step through. The gate also has a double locking system with mechanisms at the top and bottom to ensure children or pets don't push their way past.

Quick and Easy Installation

Installation is simple and takes just minutes to complete. Measure the doorway or opening you want to close off, insert the gate, and tighten the knobs until the latch is secure. This gate also comes with a handy installation DVD.

Woodwork and Wall Installation

In most cases, it's not necessary to screw holes into woodwork or walls to secure the gate. The gate's pressure mounting system and double-sided tape strips help hold the gate in place without damaging woodwork or painted walls. Other adaptors accommodate banisters and railings (each sold separately).

With easy close feature and its double locking system, this attractive pressure mounted gate is easy to install. Suitable for stairs also, you can feel peace of mind knowing your child is safer. For those evenings when the kids are all tucked safely into bed and you are wondering about, an added extra is the hold open feature. This means the door will remain in an open position till you choose to close it. Great for cordoning off spaces from door widths to much wider spaces with the use of additional extensions, available separately. Versatile indeed, it will fit openings of 28-32 on its own or with optional extensions, sold separately, it can be increased to fit up to 53. This Dreambaby pressure-mounted gate is easily installed and for most situations there is no need to screw holes into woodwork, walls unless used at the top of stairs where the mounting cups must be screwed in to added security. Great for pets too!

My son liked to crawl into the kitchen and play with the food in our dog's bowl. This gate was super easy to install (we used the pressure mounting feature). It allows the gate to stay in an open position when my son isn't crawling around so the dog can still get to his food and water. My husband can usually find something wrong with anything, but has nothin negative to say about these gates! Kudos DreamBaby on making a fantastic product!

The product arrived with a zip tie that had a tag that read "do not remove until gate is installed". Unfortunately the zip tie was cut and just floating in the box so the gate was defective. Also, when ordering online it showed a black gate, when I received the order it was a silver gate.

Worked just as advertised, easy to install, looks great. I bought 2, one for my sons house and one for my house. I will need the extentions for both, as my openings are wider then 36 inches. I didn't realize this when I originally placed order.

The gate is very easy to put together. It looks great. Love the fact that the door can stay open in either direction. I watch my 15 mo. old granddaughter and have a small dog. So now I can keep the dog out of her play area, leave the gate open when she is not here and the dog can move around the house.

Great gate. The stay open feature works very well. Gate will hold back a lot of weight. Our 50 pound bull dog doesn't even budge it. The only problem is I didn't measure before I purchased and ended up needing extensions. Will buy again if ever I need a gate.

I love this gate!!! It was easy to install, relocate, reinstall, etc. The stay open feature is a Godsend with two dogs and a toddler. In fact, I just ordered a second one. It swings effortlessly, yet strong enough to hold a bulldog.

Love this gate! My son is really strong, but he can not get through this gate. I love the hold open feature. Gate swings both ways and holds open both ways. Which is really convenient. Assembly was easy. Needed two extension for 36 doorway. Well worth the money. I would buy this product again.

This gate is awesome! It even looks pretty good. I love the auto-close and hold-open features, those are the reasons I bought this gate. Sure, it's pricier than most, but completely worth it. Be sure to tell any visitors about the bar along the floor, you don't want them to trip!

As stated in the installation instructions, you have to make sure that the gate is centered between the walls. If it's off center, the top portion of the gate will appear crooked. I thought maybe I had a defective one but once I got it centered the top straightened out just fine.

My only beef? My gate did not have the 2 "match-up" lines near the latch, as stated in the instructions. But no big deal, I figured it out anyway. I highly recommend this gate!
