We bought this chair for our daughter because she loves the ones at daycare so much.
The chair is perfect size. She's 17 months old and this chair will be with her for several years.
She doesn't really care for the footstool. I'm sure it will be used later.
It's also the perfect size for our beagle. She and our daughter have contests to see who gets to sit in the chair first. It's really funny to watch.

The only drawback I have seen so far is the fabric is really thin.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

So this chair is cute, but thats really all I can say for it. Its very light weight ( I have a smaller chair from another company that is about twice its weight) I am not sure how well it will hold up to kids playing on it. Also it is not for tweens, the age on the paper that came with the chair says for ages 2-6. Its a VERY short chair, good for a 3 year old but not much older. I am going to call to ask about what there definition of a tween is, but it is not the same as mine obviously. I will most likely keep the chair still since my daughter is only 3 and the chair was not extremely expensive, but don't buy this chair for a tween, because you will be disappointed.
