    I'm a doll collector/clothing designer.

    I have a version of this beautiful doll from last year. The photo does not do the doll justice. The skin tone is well done (without the chalky look some dolls of color have). The hair is quite nice also. They compete with Madame Alexander for quality at a decent price. She has a confident face which does not look too sophisticated for a tween-aged girl doll.

      Nicely made and very good looking change of clothes for these beautiful dolls. Dress bodice a bit snug but velcroes fine, and the loosely knitted sleeves, like faux-sheep cuffs, tend to catch on the doll's fingers, but teaches patience? Very pretty outfit. My granddaughter literally went "ooooooohhh" when she saw it. Looks very nice on all the 'friends', but on Taryn, it's just perfect.
