My daughter actually got two of these for Christmas, apparently the uncle's thought they were THAT cute! Although we did take one back, my daughter LOVES this toy. Yes, I think the door is a little hard to open, you kind of have to push down and pull, but over all my daughter loves to play with it. The nice thing is we are able to store lots of other Little People inside! We also got Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Ariel, Eric, Cinderella and a second Snow White to fit inside the castle together!

Great little castle. My daughter loves it. It keeps her entertained and she can take it anywhere thanks to the handle on the top. The only drawback is the drawbridge door/castle door is very hard for her to open and the same goes for me as well. Not sure if we got a defective one or if it is just tough to open in general. I just put my fingers through the window to open the drawbridge from the inside. But overall this is a great castle for beginning princesses! Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter last year and she still plays with it. If the drawbridge was easier to open I would have given it 5 stars. Not sure if the drawbridge has been improved on the newer versions.

my daughter is 18 months and loves this toy! she has the little people airplane too but doesn't play with it that much. she actually sits down and plays with it for a few minutes each day.
