The scented bag also includes decals! You'll find the strawberries of all sizes on the bike, just like in the world of Berry Bitty City. The Huffy 16 inch Bike - Girls - Strawberry Shortcake has a combination front handbrake and rear coaster brake that makes a great combination for riding, with wide training wheels adding sure stability. Clear grips are just her size with graphics underneath and streamers on the ends. The seat is decorated with strawberries and padded for riding comfort. A front handlebar pad and fully enclosed chain guard provide added safety. Easy assembly!

Huffy training wheel bicycles come in several sizes and are a great way to get children started bike riding. Each bicycle features a steel frame and wide training wheels. Padded seats are comfortable and the grips and pedals are specially sized for the smaller rider. When the child is ready, the training wheels can be removed for teaching the child how to ride a 'two wheeler?. Nothing beats the feeling of riding your first bike on your own!

Huffy Corporation manufactures mass-market bicycles. It was founded in 1887 when George P. Huffman purchased the Davis Sewing Machine Company and moved the factory to Ohio. Seven years later, in 1894, Huffman adapted the factory to manufacture bicycles. In 1949, Huffy became a common name after inventing training wheels for its Convertible Bike. From then on, Huffy made popular bikes, such as the Radio Bicycle, Dragster, Scout and Sigma.

I am the mother of three young girls and we have already bought quite a few bikes for them. Almost all of their bikes have been made by Huffy and we have always been happy with them. We bought the Strawberry Shortcake bike a few months ago for my 4 year old daughter's birthday and at the same time we bought the Huffy Cinderella bike for her twin sister. When my husband was assembling the two bikes, he remarked that the Cinderella bike, even though it was less expensive, seemed like it was made much better than the Strawberry Shortcake bike, which makes no sense since they are both made by Huffy.

My daughter has not ridden the bike very much (it's only April in Chicago so maybe 5 or 6 total rides) and the chain is already failing to catch the back tire frequently. The training wheels are ridiculously short so she keeps falling over - we switched the training wheels with the Cinderella bike (which are a normal height so they work correctly), since my other daughter is ready to go without training wheels.

As cute as this bike is, I would advise you to buy a different Huffy bike and not this model.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My husband and I went to so many stores to check out bikes for our daughter for her 4th birthday. In the end, we got this bike from Toys R Us!! We didn't see it at first because it was all the way on the top shelf! We love it the moment we saw it! The color and how it was built were just perfect and exactly how we'd like for our daughter! Our daughter loves the bike as well and has no problem riding it even with her first time! We're always worried about difficulty of pedaling but we didn't run into that issue with this bike! It's a great buy and we're both so happy that we got it for our daughter!!!

Had this product shipped to my wife for my daughter while deployed. Bike arrived and was confusing for my wife to put together. If you were a kid that grew up having to fix your own flats/repair/trade bike parts, ect. this is shipped just fine for you. If you didn't have to grow up with this knowledge, ask a buddy who did to help you. My wife got the bike, she didnt know how to assemble it. Pass it along to my brother in law and he hooked it up for her no problems. I forget sometimes that people who complain about assembly of products don't take in the fact that it probably isn't the companies fault or clarity of instructions, its their less than normal knowledge or common sense that prevents them from putting these things together. If you can confidently change a flat on your car and change the oil without a problem, should be an easy assembly. If you are ignorant, or just not mechanically inclined, don't blame the manufacturer about improper instructions (obviously there are exceptions). But anyway, daughter loves the bike and was assembled without a problem. Great gift.
