As far as cotton prefolds go, these are five star! They are super soft and absorbant. My gripes are that they are bulky and they shrunk up really small (and I got the size that corresponds with my 4 month old), so I can't really fasten them on my baby with a snappy or pins. I use these for nighttime use with a hemp doubler and haven't had a leak yet (all night). I may use them more for daytime once she gets bigger and needs more absorbancy. I am waiting on indian prefolds to see how those are and thinking of going with flats for now to reduce the bulk...

I tried several different brands of prefolds, and these are my favorite to use on our baby. They are soft, absorbent, and they fit well. They are thicker and nicer than all the other prefolds I tried. If they ever have a stain after the wash, I just hang them in the sun and the stain is gone in less than an hour.

They are pretty small - now that my daughter is about 13 lbs she has almost outgrown them so I'm going to buy some in size 2. I don't plan to buy any other prefold brands in the larger size. These are the best!

A couple of notes in case you are a cloth diaper newbie, like I was:

#1 personally, I only use prefolds for when she will be awake; I strongly prefer pocket diapers with inserts for naptime and at night. With prefolds the wet/mess sits right against the skin and is uncomfortable for my daughter, while a pocket diaper wicks most of the wet away from baby's skin and she tolerates wet/mess much better.

#2 prefolds like these are designed to be used with two other products: a diaper fastener and a diaper cover. Both the fastener and the cover can be used over and over in the same day, as long as they're clean; you use a new prefold with every change. So you just need a few (3 or 4) fasteners and covers, but lots of prefolds (10-15).

Great product for babies. Thats why cloth diapers have been around for 50 years. Can't beat the softness of this brand of diaper!

These diapers are ok. The diapers with Indian cotton or half cotton half hemp are better in my opinion. They are absorbent, however. The stains are minimal, but I also use liners in my diapers. They are also a bit larger than my "infant" diapers I use on my newborn and did not shrink as much as I thought they would after 5-6 washes. Still,they make a decent diaper.

I'm cloth diapering my newborn son and have experimented with several different pre-folds. These are the best I've found in this price range- they are the most absorbent and take a little longer in the dryer! They are soft and just the right size. I am about to invest in the size 2's and I will be using these exclusively as he moves into larger diapers. A great buy.
