My daughter was so excited to pick out her first toy all by her self with her birthday money. She looked all over the store and finally settled on the carriage. After playing with it for only 30 minutes, the piece that holds the arms which connect the horse to the carriage broke. I know some kids play rough, but she is a very dainty, careful girl. We glued that to try to get it to stay, and then the pieces to hold them together kept popping off. It is a beautiful carriage, and we didn't have trouble with the door, but how is she supposed to play with a carriage when the horse won't stay attached. Just what I want to tell my 3 year old is that we have to take your new toy back.

My daughter loved this toy when she opened it Christmas morning. The carriage and horse are both cute. I gave it 3 stars because the the pieces that attach the horse to the cart keep coming off. Without them, the horse cannot pull the cart. This is disappointing to me and frustrating to my daughter. That being said, I would recommend this toy, but only if you don't mind using the cart and horse separately.

Cute set. My 3 year old was so excited when she opened it on Christmas. I am not a huge fan of the clip on dress but it's okay. The carriage is flimsy, you have to be careful to hold the body while you open or close the door as I fear they will break off if you are not gentle. As my daughter is the one who tore open the package I never saw the piece that attaches the horse to the carriage. She just puts his back legs over the front axel and drags it that way, which is fine. The carriage is pretty, though, and has held up to several hours of play so far without breaking.
