I will admit I bought this swing because it was The Lion King and brown color. Plus it was on sale. This swing does not have a motor, it uses a magnet at the bottom to make it swing. In my experience, because of the magnet it didn't swing as fast as it could with a motor. Even with a small 8 LB baby it swung just barely. This swing also only has one toy on the toy bar .Also i'm not sure if this was just mine, maybe it was a dud swing, but it wouldn't stay on. The instructions say to set the speed and give it a push past the magnet to activate it. Mine did not stay on, and when you push it manually it squeaks because of how the swing is set up with the plastic at the bottom the metal squeaked. I had to return it. Always keep the box and receipt people!

I got this item as a babyshower gift. When I assembled it I couldnt get the swing to stay swinging. I went to babiesrus and tried to get the demo swing to work, it had the same problem. I asked an associate about the product, he told me it was the number 1 returned swing they sell.

Bought this as a baby shower gift for my niece who is expecting her first child. My kids loved to swing when they were babies.

I put it together myself and it was pretty easy assembly. I love that the seat part is more of a hammock design and is soft rather than a hard plastic seat. Also I love that it folds up and takes up basically no room at all!!! I haven't used this yet considering I still have 2 months to go, but so far I would deff recommend this swing to friends and family.

Cute but swing/music feature doesn't work. Part on backorder for 4 weeks. Replacement part being sent but not received yet. Meanwhile swinging by hand. Not fun and not expected in a Disney product. Difficult to assemble also.

I recieved this as a gift at my shower. Baby is due in one month. I put it together myself easily. I love the lion king theme and I think the way this looks is nice. Its soft and looks and feels very comfortable but I cannot get it to swing! I have taken it apart and put it back together 3 times and every time everything is lined up correctly, it will swing for a few seconds and then stops. Maybe once baby is in it with more weight to it it will work correctly. If not I will be returning for something different.

my son hates bouncy seats and I was close to giving up but I can't hold him all the time so my mom and I were in Babies R Us looking for something we could use at her house and my house since she watches him alot and it had to be portable so our options were limited. I liked this one because it vibrated and is a swing so we gave it a try and it's been amazing! He actually sits in it for more than 5 minutes and lately the swinging has been lulling him to sleep. Miracle!!!! We are talking super fussy baby only wants to be held by mama! I can take a shower for more than 20 seconds now:) I love this product and am glad to have found it.

My son loves this swing. He actually slept in it for a good 4 hours last night when nothing would calm him down. I love that it's The Lion King and that it folds up for storage and travel. I don't use the vibration feature because my son doesn't like it but it is pretty loud compared to his other seat. The sound is pretty low as well. The toy bar is very boring and for some reason Simba is facing the opposite direction. I was able to add some hanging toys to it but it isn't very entertaining with just Simba. Overall I think the swing is very cute and if you need to save space it's definitely a great buy. And as I said, my son loves it and that's all that really matters in the end isn't it? =)

My mom gave this to us for our first child. The swing itself is wonderful. It's nice and compact--great for a small space. It fits through a doorway and even folds down and can be leaned against the wall--a little awkward to carry though. The thing that I don't like about it is that it runs on 4 D batteries. Our batteries only lasted for about a month, in which time we used it probably less than five times--I'd say less than five hours of the swing being turned on. That's a rough estimate, but the point is that the batteries didn't last even close to as long as I thought they would. It doesn't come with a wall adapter, so my dad wired it for us, and now it works great. If you buy this swing plan on spending a lot of money on batteries or finding someone to wire it for you!

This swing has been a lifesaver. Our son can get quite fussy and this has worked great to calm him down. He likes both the swinging motion and the vibration. I am thankful that it folds up quickly and compactly so we can take it to grandmas or even move it down to the office when I need to pay bills or check email. Plus it's really cute!
