washed this mattress pad to put on the new crib as we prepare for baby. followed the instructions, which included dry on low. the waterproof plastic liner melted and bunched up in the middle of the mattress pad. had to pull it apart just to get it onto the mattress. so much for any waterproof qualities.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought a few of these for my daughters crib. Never again! I washed them once according to the instructions and the plastic melted all over my dryer. Don't waste your money!
