The top of play area has good interaction and good use of hand and eye coordination features. However the base of it is scary. My husband put this together followed all instructions and we can not believe that it is so wobbly at times. With all the legal warnings around top of seat I was afraid to put my 4 month old son in it without sitting right by him. Please be sure your child has met the developmental milestones a 4 month old should before placing child in it. It is not like the display that was seen in the store and would reconsider another brand based on experience. Will not by this special babies r us brand items in future....If this is one you choose by price as we did be sure to not be distracted while infant is in it.

I bought this when I was pregnant and had read so many reviews on it so I felt confident before my purchase. Well, we took it out when our son was about 3 months old and almost immediately from looking at it I wanted to put it back in the box and return it. But we decided to keep it since it was already put together (bad decision). We didn't actually use it until our son was 4 1/2 months old. Now I know he was still young when he first went in it but my son is pretty tall for his age and even with a pillow he hardly touched the bottom. I put a pillow under his feet which helped a little but not 100%. Besides that, I would have to sit on the floor next to him while he would play with the toys because most of them he can't do himself. Yes, 4 1/2 months old is young but even now that hes 6 months old he still can't play with these toys on his own. I thought at first maybe he just wasn't old enough for the exersaucer but we visited my in laws a week ago and my mother in law bought a Baby Einstein exersaucer and the way the toys are setup on this one my son could actually play on his own! I was able to do a few different things around my house and didn't need to sit on the floor with him. In the evenflo exersaucer he would get so frustrated he would scream and my son is very quite baby. He hardly makes a sound. I actually had to remove the piece with the flower mirror on it because he would become so frustrated. This unit also has a bird inside of an egg shell well its even hard for my friends 3 year old son to pull it out. So how does one expect an infant to do that? I love love love the one from Baby Einstein and actually took the one from my mother in laws house home with me and the evenflo one is now away. The main reason why I love the baby einstein one so much is that ALL of toys on the unit are ones my son can play with on his own. He's able to play without my help and gets excited when pushes the animal buttons, or plays with the teething pieces on it. If you're looking for an exersaucer I would check out the baby einsteiin ones, and fisher price rainforest for a jumper! Stay away from the evenflo exersaucer.

I opened this for my 5 and 1/2 month old. On the box it says 4 months and up. My daughter's feet do not reach the bottom, and she's not even a short baby. She will not be able to use it for another month. I tried with the pillow, but she keeps kicking it away. Regreting that I opened it too early. Will just take a lot of space in my living room.

at first i was weary of buying it because it didnt look like it had alot of great features, but once my hubby put it togeather it turned out great. Its sturdy and my daughter is 4 months and fits very well in it. The best features about it are that it converts from being flat on the ground to being able to wobble around, and it bounces so your baby can also jump in it to. Great product will deff recomend to my friends!

This was for my 4 month old grandson, and he likes it very much. He is a little too short for it, so we put a pillow for his feet to rest on until he grows a bit more. He enjoys the toys on it, and has no trouble turning around to play with them. We were very happy with the quality of it, the speedy delivery, and would definately recommend it to others.
After looking at many other similiar products, we are glad to have chosen this one.
