When looking to purchase a glider / rocker for the upcoming birth of our son, my husband and I visited the Babies R Us store closest to us and tried out every chair that they offered in their showroom! This chair has ample cushioning, room and is just so comfortable!! I can see us spending many a night with our son curled up in our arms in this chair! It was delivered to our home in good quality, no damage and was easy to assemble. When I first ordered it online, it stated it would be two to three weeks before we received it, however we got a notification that it would be delivered within 10 days and it was! Love that kind of service!

Extremely easy to assemble the chair and the ottoman. I didn't have a problem. I did get this glider a few months before the baby was here and at first I thought it was great. Sturdy construction, glides nicely, reclines well and WAS comfy. Now the baby is here, I notice the cushion that I sit on is compacted/compressed, not very soft and I cannot sit in the glider for a long time. I am not a big girl and there is no reason the cushion should already be a pancake especially since this glider is on the expensive side. Need to put extra cushioning down and the glider is still great, just expected more.

This chair is AMAZING. I wasn't going to write a review until I read the other review on here. The cushion is incredibly comfortable. I have spent many nights in this chair when my little one was a newborn (sleepless nights!), nursing, teething, sick, and just to take a nap together. :) It is wide enough that my little one (now 20 months) and I can sit side by side and read bedtime stories together. This added width made the chair very comfortable while nursing. It is easy to clean and very sturdy. The reclining mechanism works very well and adds to the chairs comfort. I also recommend investing in the Dutailier ottoman with a nursing stool.

So....my husband treated me to a new chair with our 6th....the Dutailier Grande LR model in Sage that is now 299.99 and discontinued. We all absolutely LOVE that chair. Cushions are plush, comfy and everyone wants to sit in that chair. SO...we really needed another, and since that one was not available, I purchased this glider...expecting it be very similar, but a bit smaller. Not so. This chair cushion is Very firm. Don't sit down too fast because it will be a bit painful on your bottom and back. Same for the ottoman. Can't imagine sitting on this right after delivery! I'm hoping that perhaps it will be a bit softer over time, but not too optimistic. Considering returning this chair. Would have purchased the XL option, but only white fabric is available and am concerned about soiling. May go to another retailer. Wish I could buy another LR Sage model! I gave it 2 stars only because I do like the fabric. Chair was fairly easy to assemble, but the ottoman was a pain. My husband was ready to pop someone. LOL. Try another Dutailier. I do recommend the brand.
