I bought this for my son's pre-k class, its a great size compared to the backpacks that are way too big but it left my hands blue from just opening and closing it, I rubbed a napkin over it and it immediately stained the napkin blue as well. I'd wash it but the blue dye will probaby end up staining through to the Mario patch (which has a fuzzy soft matertial) don't want it staining my son's school uniform, hands or God forbid get caught in the rain with it. Taking it back :(
