Our little Olivia hasn't arrived just yet but we wanted to set this up ahead of time to get used to it being by the bed while she's a newborn until she moves to her crib. There are a lot of features on this play yard. We like that it grows with the baby from newborn to small toddler which is one of the reasons we picked it. Love that it's a co-sleeper and we don't have to purchase a co-sleeper AND a play yard. I agree that the pad is a bit thin but I doubt a little one would complain too much about that.
My husband's putting it together and it would probably go faster if I was helping him and not sitting here adding this review :) It has taken him about an hour to do it. He's mostly done and there have only been a couple parts that he found confusing in the directions. The co-sleeper is the last part and is giving him the most grief. I've gotten a few eye rolls but I think he has it now.
It's a little heavy in the travel bag with all components in it. It doesn't look like the co-sleeper is foldable to go in the travel bag. So I assume it has to be taken on trips as is if it goes with you.
It's all well built and very sturdy.
The best part about it is that it's basically an all in one that covers our needs. Having a child before I know what I need/want and what I don't. Hopefully this review helps someone. We are happy with the purchase and the product.

This playard was so easy to put together using the instruction manual (a must!) and I'm so glad we bought it. It's like having everything in one and I can easily watch my daughter while she's napping to make sure she's okay.

I'm currently 8 months pregnant and I was thrilled to see a play yard that came with a cosleeper to put my newborn in! I saw that this product had nothing but good reviews, so I bought it online. I picked it up from the store and set it up for my 15 month old to play in. The mattress was hard as a rock! It felt like the material used to make clipboards wrapped in fabric. It seemed very cheaply made. My 15 month old didn't mind it, but she was also sitting up playing with her toys. I wouldn't expect her to sleep in it, and would definitely not put a newborn in it. I immediately took it back and exchanged it for a different brand. They have this product on display in the store with the cosleeper set up, so I knocked on the mattress and it sounded like wood! No padding whatsoever. It proved that it wasn't just a flaw with my product. There is a difference between hard and firm when it comes to products like this. This play yard mattress was hard. Also, there was hardly any storage for the things you need for newborn care. I strongly recommend looking at a different pack and play, especially for the somewhat high price. Good concept, but really needs improvement.

Love the co sleeper, and the fact that it is detachable and you can take it anywhere you want.Has enough storage for me to have plenty of diapers, a pack of wipes, extra outfits and a blanket. Great variety of music for sleep and awake time, also nature sound. It also has a record button so my 2 1/2 daughter likes to say stuff to her baby sister then play it back. I spent 2 hours comparing in store this is also the most bang for your buck. I wish the mattress part would be a little softer but its better than most even the graco minnie which is more $. Still 5 star rating love it!!

We use this product as a bassinet next to our bed for the first few weeks at home. The night light on top of the music box is great (plus our baby loves looking at it shine on the ceiling!) and our baby loved the vibrating mode and music! When we travel we simply just take the "bassinet" off the top and take it with us instead of packing up the entire play yard.

I know this nursery is going to last for years because it's so spacious and has a changing table that will obviously be used for years. It's so sturdy and I can keep it near my bed to keep my baby close to me.

I love that this play yard has a flip away changing table. It saves me so much time when it comes to helping baby rest and changing baby. All in one!
