This was a present for our Japanese granddaughter in Japan, and she was absolutely thrilled with it. I sent the video TOYS R US had online with instructions, and her father assemled it without any problem. Her mother was very impressed, especially with the large size. The dollhouse was the exact maximum dimensions that USPS would mail, and that represented a significant savings.

***WARNING!!** This product does not ship inside of a box so you are clearly able to see what this is when it is delivered. I just had her big Christmas present ruined because we saw what it was on the doorstep!!! I am very disappointed that I paid this much money for the surprise factor to get ruined. They should give a warning if the product being shipped is not going to be hidden......

The dollhouse was pretty easy to assemble and my daughter loves all the sounds effects. She's had it for a few weeks now and still plays with it every day.

The elevator string detaches too easily which is a little annoying, but it's probably saved the elevator from worse fates as she sometimes tries to force it when things are in the way.

It was a bit expensive, but I'm fine spending money on toys that my kids will actually play with.

Overall I wasn't impressed with the house, but my daughter loves it and I got it on sell during the Christmas season. The elevator wouldn't stay attached to the string we had to glue it together, the t.v that comes out of the fireplace doesn't light up like it says it suppose to do. My daughter doesn't seem to mind that the t.v doesn't light up, and was pleased that dad got the elevator to work. Had I paid full price for the house I would have took it back, but we got on sell for half the price, and she happy so we are keeping it.

My daughter spends hours playing with her dream house. So lifelike with all the bells & whistles. Only thing that is not perfect is the elevator. She has troubles with it going up and down. It could be a little more sturdy but overall wonderful.
