At 12 years old, I wondered if this toy would be too young for my kids. They ride in the rain, sun, hot and cold,spinning and riding. My son is a seventy-five pound 12 year old with an inventive and creative miind. He tries everything and upsets this thing again and again. It has held up well, and we've had none of the problems with seats breaking or rods bending that some others have mentioned. My daughter is a very tall, 115 pound, 12 year old and even with her much larger size, this toy has held up well. She rides more carefully and usually doesn't spin as hard, or laughingly upset it going down a hill. We couldn't be happier, and for $100, this has provided months of delight and is the best child care help I could have found! Good exercise for the kids too!

We paid to have it assembled, since we know there is no mechanically inclined person in our household.

My daughter loves her PINK green machine. Her brother got his Green machine earlier this year so she already knew how to handle it. the only down side is that this is not sold in ANY store and most people don't know it comes in pink. There are a lot of girls that got the Green machine because parents did not know that it comes in pink. Other then that we are very happy.
