This bike is not bad but for the price i thought it would be a little sturdier. It seems a little thin to me and not tough like some bikes have been known to be. I think i could have found a better bike for the price. It was however not to hard to put it together.

Pros: Relatvely inexpensive, not too much assembly required, my boy loves it
Cons: Cheap thin training wheels, parts were all just thrown in the box, confusing assembly instructions, no reflectors included, ugly spot welds, heavy.
Bottom line: an OK first bike, my boy is able to ride it and he loves it.

It's a great little bike for the price. Assembly was relatively easy. The trickiest part was getting two nuts off of the front wheel before being able to mount it. After that the rest was a piece of cake.

The boy loves it, and is learning to ride it without training wheels. No complaints here.

"Santa" brought our 3 year old this bike for Christmas for being such a good big boy and for out growing his 12" bike. He has been riding a two wheel without training wheels for about 5 months now. He loves the color and the fact that its bigger, like a big boy bike. The only problem we have is that the seat just doesn't go down low enough for his short little 3 yr old legs to touch the ground and we have to hold the bike for him to climb on and get started.

Ordered this item Monday it arrives Friday, without the training wheels or the SEAT!! I called the store, they told me to call the 800 #. The 800# told me to ship or back and they would send a new one. I opted instead to bring it back to the store where they wouldn't give me my money back. Instead they exchanged it for the floor model, which besides being damaged had two flat tires. I came back the next day and spoke to yet another manager who finally gave me my money back. Ugh. Do not buy a bike from TRU. Go to a bike store.

You get what you paid for I suppose. I purchased because of the great price (low price) as I knew that my son was not going to be a huge bike rider (maybe once a week). So I guess that it will hold up for that amount, but if you are going to do any significant riding this is not the bike for you. Very cheap and subject to overturn! -Tips over at the slightest curving. Assembley was easy and ship to store was great.

Assembly was quiet easy. Took me longer to get the tools from my truck than getting the bike up and running . Know that the bike does not come with reflectors. Huffy has been used in my family since i was my son's age so i was pleased that quality has not been compromised by bad economy. If you want a bike that will last you can't go wrong with this one. Toy's R Us reps were polite and helpfull too.
