For the cheapness of the product, it works well. It does take some time getting used to the amount of water to use, but we have not had any problems. The auto shutoff is great, as my husband tends to leave things plugged in. I have found that taking the bottle out of the warmer, mid-cycle, for a few seconds and then returning it to the warmer prevents the bottle from over-heating. As far as bottles/baby food jars not fitting, there is a removable top that allows the wider items to fit just fine. Again, I'm sure it is not the best product, but for the price we really cannot complain.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I had the M****kin warmer , I gave it to my day care provider & bought this one for my house. For the same price this is bad, wide mouth bottles & baby food jars do not fit, it does not have a cover so you can sanitize pacifiers, it does not have anything to hold the water capsel, so that will probably be lost in 2 days. It is slow, I am returing it this weekend.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          I bought this product to help save time while warming bottles safely. It uses steam to warm them so every time you want to warm a bottle you have to add the right amount of water otherwise it will over or under heat. Then, it takes FOREVER! It may just seem to take forever when you have a hungry baby in the middle of the night but for larger bottles can take 4-5 minutes. I would definitely recommend buying another product. If I had saved the box I would definitely take it back. Highly dissatisfied
