    This doll IS Asian looking...However, it looks like a Filipina doll. I am a Filipina and this doll is a great representative of the women in our country. My daughter is 1/2 Filipina, 1/2 Caucasian. She is starting to be more interested in our culture and was looking for dolls that looked more like her (tan with dk. brown/black hair & brown eyes). This doll was perfect! She loves it and plays with it every day! It was a gift for her birthday! I would highly recommend this doll!

          It is advertised as Asian, but has absolutely nothing to do with looking that way. It just looks like any regular Barbie but with dark hair.
