Pop-Out Airplane Wings Take the Action to the Skies

Trigger Lightning McQueen's transformation with a simple mechanism in the back. Airplane wings pop out the sides, and jet-like engines pop out the back--with working LEDs. Missiles also appear below the wings. When it's time for exciting action, load the projectiles on each side and activate with a button on the launcher. Plus, Lightning McQueen Hawk sports an intense expression that shows he's ready to face any challenge!

Built-In Sensor Reacts with Catchy Phrases

This interactive Lightning McQueen vehicle has a built-in sensor, so he can detect how your kids play with him; then he makes sounds and speaks phrases corresponding to his movements. In automobile mode, hear him react to popping a wheelie ("Poppin' a wheelie!"), driving backwards (reverse sounds), and flipping upside down (crash sounds). In airplane mode, he talks while banking left ("Bank left!"), barrel rolling ("Barrel roll!"), climbing ("Yeah! More throttle!"), and more. The commentary is nonstop, with more than 50 sounds and phrases! An easy on/off switch provides a silent option as well.

                    This toy is actually very cool. The transforming is very cool, as are the sounds. And, it is very confusing how to make the wings stay in. In order to do it, you need to close the rear, then push in each wing straight into the slot using the round cylinder at the tip until you hear a click. You really have to push the wings far into the body until it clicks.

                    That being said, the mechanism is complicated, and I'm concerned about it breaking. Also, 10 minutes after getting the toy my four year old lost a missile.

                    All in all, a pretty cool toy.

                          Bought this toy for xmas for my son and the language is not even in english! There is nothing on the box stating that it would speak in a foreign language. I was so disappointed, what a let down. I have lost all respect for the retailer to sell such an item and will no longer patron to the manufacturer. Its a sad day that businesses would sell such items just make a dollar.

                          My 5 year old just loves this toy, and I would be impressed too if it would actually do what it's supposed to. The wings won't stay in when you turn it into a car, and the missile holders are super hard to get out. The sayings are great, and the idea is wonderful. I just wish they would have built it better! Still my little guy plays with it all the time, and his younger brother who is 3.5 always wants it too.

                            My 4 yr old was expecting to be able to turn the car into a plane a back like the commercial, but the parts dont stay in when trying to turn it into a car, and the part for the missiles is very difficult to pull out and align the missile correctly without having to ask me to do it each time. He played with it twice then left it alone.
