This product transforms poorly for kids. Once it is put back into a vehicle the wheels do not turn and the pieces disconnect. It only looks good as an action figure not both.

Looked at the "product dimensions" before ordering and saw that the height for this toy was 11.9 inches! Wow! My grandson will love this large Optimus Prime, almost a foot tall!! However, upon opening the box (ordered online) I was dismayed to find that the actual figure is 6 inches tall. It is the cardboard packaging that is 11.9 inches tall. Deceptive advertising!!!

It's a pretty good representation of the Optimus found in Fall of Cybertron.

It feels okay in your hands, pretty sturdy, but not anything notably better than other transformers I've handled recently. Average in my opinion.

Super simple transformation, most should be able to figure out how to transform it even without instructions. Pretty boring though compared to some other transformers.

I'd recommend it for any kids, as for older fans it just depends if they like the Fall of Cybertron Optimus design and whether they value intricate transformations or not. It's not a transformer that I would pluck off a shelf just to fiddle with since there really isn't that much going on with it.

The first review isnt worth you time reading. WFC optimus Had way to many steps compared to other optimus figures I own. This is intended for 5 and up and after letting my nephew play with it, it was easy enough for him(which is thier major audience). so I got him one for his birthday and definitly recommend this one to anyone.

alot of people dont like this figure, im a collector and had low expectations but after picking this up its become one of my favorite figures to fool around with. definitely does not diserve a 1* rating

This is a great deluxe-class Optimus Prime, one of the best that has been releasedin recent years. Unlike a lot of recent Transformer's toys the transformation process is relatively easy which is great seeing that these toys are intended for kids.

On top of that the build quality is very high, which is a nice change when you look at the crummy build quality found in a lot of the movie toys.

In vehicle-mode this figure is fairly accurate to his video-game counterpart which is no easy task in a figure this small. In robot mode is also reasonably accurate and features great balance and poseability.

This figure is highly recommended whether you are purchasing for yourself as a collector or are buying for a child!

For an avid transformer collector, this figure is terrible. The transformation is extremely simple, and is just bad looking. It falls flat compared to the War for Cybertron Optimus Prime. I would not recommend this figure at all.
