This train is totally awesome and a way better deal than the one car train with smaller track. Definitely worth the few extra bucks! Works okay. Super cute, and great quality.

So I upgraded to this train after the cheaper one was returned because it didn't work. No problem with this train and it comes with little animals and ponies. My daughter didn't have that many ponies to start with so the ponies didn't cause any repeats. She is three and noticed that Rarity and Pinkie Pie are on the box but not included in the ponies. The fluttershy that I got in the box had a "blank flank" so that's a manufacturing defect but not huge for my 3 year old but maybe for an older child. Tracks are easy to put together. I just wish I'd been able to get it on sale.

So disappointed! This was all my daughter asked for Christmas. It will not work. It like it's not getting a connection. My 5yr old wants to know why Santa brought her a broken train. I was going to exchange but seems like everyone is having same problem. Then TOYSRUS without receipt (can't find mine) Wants to give me WAY WAY less than what I paid. Not fair when something NEVER worked.

The little house thingy is cheap, but the train is fairly durable. I think I'll let the batteries run out and then just let them drive it around on the track. We already have all those ponies, but at least they can be back ups for when the hair gets brushed too much on the ones we have. I think this is a better value than the one that only has the engine and a little wagon to tow.

It takes a little patience for my 4 yrs old to set up the way she wants, as it requires cordination skills and handling some of very small pieces. But it is a wonderful toy to play in many many ways. As to an earlier comment about it does not work, it takes 15 minutes or so to start working after batteries in place.

The set is very large. I feel that the engine should be more powerful as it has a hard time pulling the loaded cars. It is nice to finally have a train set built for a girl. I am not one of those gender neutral nuts... I want my daughter to have pretty pink girly things that make boys want to puke!

My baby girl loves it. It's a girly train set, couldn't be any better for my girl who has been wanting a train set. It works amazing.

This toy is great and super cute! My 2.5 year old loves it and gets loads of imaginative play with the ponies and trian. It is easy for her to work herself, sturdy, and fun. LOVE!

My girls were so excited to see this in action....we put it all together, got the ponies and friends situated just right and then.....it didn't work. We tried other batteries, we kept re-reading the directions to see if we had missed something. Nope, we didn't....the toy just doesn't work. Back it goes and I won't replace it as odds are if we get one that does work, it won't work for long. it's very disappointing for little ones.

My 3 yr old got this for Christmas - she loves My Little Pony! However the train has a very difficult time staying on the tracks when all the cars are attached. Frustrating!
