THE GALS SMELL REALLY GOOD STILL AFTER 2 WKS. THE CLOTHES ARE EASY TO PUT ON & WAY BETTER THAN THE POLLY POCKET ONES & THE MATERIAL IS STRONGER TOO. THEY ARE A BIT SMALLER, SO IF YA HAVE LIL ONES WATCH OUT THEY MAY WANNA EAT 'EM :)OTHER THAN THAT, DAUGHTER TESTED & MOTHER APPROVED :)

My 5 year old daughter just got this for a Christmas present. She hasn't stopped playing for the last 1.5 hours! At first she was complaining she couldn't get the clothes on, but after I showed her a couple times, she was fine and playing on her own happily. There are small parts and I'm sure we'll lose a bunch, but oh well. The clothes are a thicker rubber than Polly Pocket so they seem like they will last. I think this is a great idea for a gift for the 5-7 crowd.

I guess I knew the odds of losing pieces was going to be pretty high since they are all pretty small. But I have a daughter who liked to dress them up and we didn't have a wardrobe for the Shortcake dolls until now. I tried the polly pocket brand and the clothes tore so easily so I took them back and we took our Shortcake dolls and swapped clothes until we got this set now we have so much fun getting to "shop" for new outfits and we get to put them upstairs in the Shortcake shop. My daughter has so much fun. I have actually considered getting a second one just for all the extra clothes. They are a good quality we haven't had any problem with them :)
