At first glance my thoughts were that this is an awesome product. 20-100 lbs, I will never need to buy another car seat.

After owning this product for a few weeks with my two year old i've compiled a list of pros and cons.

Pros:
*It looks really cool
* Steel reinforced back for safety, many are all plastic.
*My 23lb daughter fits pretty well.
*Straps are easily adjusted although re-thread type.
*Very sturdy.
*Easy install.
*Last car seat I will need for my daughter.

Cons:
* This is not the most comfortable harnessed booster in this price range.
*It is heavy but for good reasons (steel back, adjustable headrest, sturdy).
*The recline isn't as much as i'd hoped.

We bought two of these carseats. The price was right and the fact that it would be last carseat we would have to buy. After about 6 seat belt replacement. I finally have demanded my money back from graco.

I bought this car seat for my son who just turned four. I wanted a 5 point harness for as long as he could be in one for safety. We previously owned a Chicco infant seat and a Britax toddler seat. I like both of them very much. My thought was this would be the last car seat/booster we'd have to buy...wrong! The seat is definitely cheaper made than the others we've had. The biggest problem is the crotch strap will not release with out alomst breaking your thumb. It is a huge safety issue not to mention the inconvenience. I would NOT suggest buying a Graco Nautilus.

This thing is ridiculous. Hard to buckle, my daughter's head always falls forward - while this might not be the seat itself, (maybe she still needs to be reclined but she is 2 & 1/2 and plenty heavy enough for it) I cant get over the fact how hard it is to buckle. My sons seat I can do one handed and he can even buckle himself. I'm about ready to go to back to the other expensive brand that I know we love and just toss this piece of junk away. What a waste of money. DONT BOTHER

This car seat is just barely ok. On the plus side, it got excellent safety ratings, and converts to a booster (which we haven't used yet.) But in my opinion the fact that it doesn't recline enough is a deal-breaker. Not only can we not adjust the recline position without unstrapping the whole seat, but we had to install it on the farthest "reclined" setting and it is still so upright my daughter's head flops forward if she falls asleep. That alone is reason enough to replace the seat, but another negative is that the buckle is sticky and doesn't latch smoothly. Long story short, there are probably many better car seats out there.

The red release button sticks and gets stuck! Leaving your kid trapped inside. I went online and there are many others experienceing the same problem. The button was stuck/locked so bad this afternoon we had to remove the carseat from the vehicle and loosen all of the straps and forcibly remove our child from the now useless carseat. And to top it off Graco is not availuable on weekends so we have to wait until Monday to talk to a human being. UHH!! Oh and I forgot to mention the seat is only 2 months old!! Also as others stated Yes the child head always falls forward.

my daughters head falls foward everytime she sleeps!!!! i had bought this car seat because it said it "reclines" reclines my butt! uncomfortable carseat and dont get me started with the 5 point harness! terrible.

I was in need of a carseat for my 4.5 year old, she had just outgrown her previous carseat and I wanted to get one with the 5 point harness since it is the safest option. For the price and all the features this carseat kept going back to the top of my list and there were many good reviews about it too. So far I am loving it! I feel confident having my daughter in this carseat. The only 'problems' I could say about it would be it is heavy so if you want to switch it to other cars that is kind of a pain but it buckles in easily and with the head rest when they fall asleep their heads fall forward, I have a neck pillow for my daughter already so that helps with that. I love that it has a cup holder and all the safety features! This is definitely one of the best carseats out there in my opinion and you can't beat the price for what you get.

The buckle of the 5 point harness sticks, and you are not able to push in the red button to unlatch the harness. On several occasions my daughter has been stuck in her carseat. Graco will send you out a new buckle but, your child will be without a carseat until it arrives. For us this meant missing a day of school. Also do not like how the latch system works. Britax models have a much more user friendly system on their carseats. Truly regret buying this carseat. Should have spent a little more money.

This car seat is great we have the boy colored one and bought it for our then 3 year old. We have it for about a year now it we call the Lexus of car seats for less than 200 bucks we got all the safety features of a 500 car seat. It's super comfortable, extremely adjustable, and the storage and cup holders make long rides bare able. Cons of course are the weight but I would only consider that a half con, because weight helps keep the seat anchored in a crash. The crotch strap is a little weird I couldn't imagine if I had a chunky kid, my son has to slide all the way to the back, but again I think it's a safety thing to keep the kid against the back of the seat and sitting properly for a 5 pt harness. It is a pain to clean, but again all car seats are. Over all I love this seat I think it's the best seat since slice bread. I cringe when his grand mom puts him in his other seat.
