When I first got this carseat home, I wasnt sure I was going to like it. It seemed bulky, but once I installed it, it is just fine. We have a Jeep Grand Cheroke, and it fits just fine. It was easy to install. I havent had any problems with latching, or unlatching the harness like some people have said. The only think I dont like so far is the neck cushions on the straps are stiff and bulky....you have to use them in the rear facing, but at least I can take them off or change them in the other positions

This seat is excellent. It is heavy duty, easy to install with the base. We liked it so much, we bought one for each car. Child is very comfortable and I love the seat!

Love this car seat! I bought this when my son outgrew his infant car seat. The instruction manual was kind of confusing and hard to understand, but thankfully it was not hard to install and I didnt need the manual anyways. The seat comes put together already, all you have to do is snap on the cup holder and another piece that snaps on to the bottom of the base. I did remove the shoulder straps that comes on the harnest because they were so big and bulky (I will buy my own) and my son couldnt move his head. The best part of the seat is how easy it is to adjult it. If you want to loosen the straps, just push the button and pull on them or if you want to adjust the seat higher or lower, just pull the handle on top and it moves up and down! I love this car seat and so does my son! I am one happy momma!

I Have to say I really love this car seat. It is built very well and rather heavy(better than cheaply made car seats). It does cost more but you are getting more for your money. It can be used as your child grows rather than having to buy an infant car seat, toddler car seat, and booster. It is all in one! The only cons to this is that it does take up more space and it's hard to clean. There is a lot of parts to take off in order to place the cover in the washer. However, great product. I'd recommend it.

I purchased this car seat after reading review after review of every model out there. I will be returning it today after owning it about 3 weeks. I agree with a couple other reviewers - there seems to be an age range that does not work with this seat. My son turned 16 months old after we purchased this one (he is 26lbs, 30.5 inches long). His head seems to be kicked forward into an unnatural position and the bulk of his weight seems to ride on the small of his back, instead of his bottom. I had read another review which made this same claim. I tried everything under the sun to make it work. I even folded a thin towel and placed it behind the seat's cover to help accomodate for the void behind the small of his back, nothing has worked. The shoulder straps have covers that must remain on the harness when the child is rear facing. These are VERY bulky and rigid and when placed properly as instructed make it appear as though my son is in a neck restraint for a spinal injury. When I go to get him out, he literally can't turn his head to look at me (this too, may be due to his age/body size). I'm sure this is very safe in the event of an accident, but it seems that they could have done something a little more comfortable some how. Also, I drive a Chevy Equinox. This seat takes up a LOT of space. Because of it's size, it's hard to get my son in and out of it. In order to lift him up and into it, his head almost (or does) hit the ceiling of the vehicle every time. It's hard to explain, but putting him in and out of the seat is very awkward. The adjustable head rest/harness all-in-one is a great theory that I was excited to get. However, after using the seat for a few weeks, I'm starting to wonder if this feature is what causes the awkward body position because the head reast is not flush in-line with the back of the seat (see photos). I was also happy to see this seat had adjustable arm rests. However those were a let down also. They are in the way when I put my son in and out of the seat, and when you push them up they are still just as much in the way as before. Another perk which I looked for in a seat was the ability to recline it, no one wants to see their child asleep with their chin on their chest. However, in the rear facing position, if you recline the seat to a comfortable position for sleeping, the level indicator falls way out of the safe area and the only way to correct that is to put the seat in a more up and down position. I CAN say, this feels like a SUPER SAFE and sturdy seat, it is definately made of solid construction. However, as another reviewer said - the convenience of the in-car base isn't enjoyable because the seat is sooo heavy and bulky it's a LARGE pain to move from vehicle to vehicle. I wanted to like this seat, but I was very dissapointed. I can only speak from perspective of a small toddler's use of the seat, but if that is the age range you're looking for - I strongly advise you keep looking.

My niece was growing out of her infant carrier but is not ready for a forward facing seat. I was looking for something she could grow with that also matched my current forward facing seat that my nephew has. I researched and read all the reviews on this seat. I bought it and hoped that it was money well spent. Well it was for sure money well spent. I LOVE THIS CAR SEAT!! It was so easy for me to put together and install in my car. I love that you can make it rear facing or forward facing in seconds!! I also love that the seat reclines in both rear facing and forward facing. I installed it in my car took it to my moms and showed her. She loved it as much as I did and ordered 2 for her car. The following week we made the 4 hour trip to VA with my niece (6months) and nephew (2) They were both very comfortable. My nephew was able to recline forward facing and watch his dvd player and when he fell asleep we didn't have to worry about his head falling forward. AWESOME SEAT!! Would recommend this seat to everyone. We now have 3 of them and I am waiting for them to do another 20% off sale and I will be buying a 4 one.

I bought this when my daughter out grew her infant seat and this will be the last seat that you will ever need. After all the research online this is just perfect specially if you are traveling on road a lot. It has front face recline too that I just absolutely love. I no longer have to see my baby's head leaning forward when she is asleep. And the padding is so comfortable. The only thing I would say it needs like any other convertible seat is more belt room for winter.
