My son HAD to have this for his birthday as it was a Jake party. We paid more than this for it and we have been very happy with it. I don't what people expect it to be, but we love it. When it is not in use we flatten it and store it behind my son's bedroom door. This was a great addition to his Jake room also! Very happy with it, just like every other playhut item we have owned! Thank you so much for giving us a giant Bucky!

My 2 y/o is in love with Jake (And Smee). There isn't a whole lot out for the Neverland Pirates (Or Smee) yet so when we saw this we were all "Oh cool!" but we took it back to the store immediately after buying it. It does pop open, but in portions and then it velcros together. The center mast/hoop portion completely detaches and there is no fully covered area. Its an open ship-shaped item that, due to the velcro, is extremely flimsy and collapses or comes undone. Not worth the asking price. We paid half price and that was still too much for what it ended up being. Great idea but poorly executed. Hopefully they come out with something similar but better constructed.

Have a 3 yr old son who loves Jake & the pirates. Got Bucky thinking it would be a good tent/play area for him, since he shoots basketball. Bucky has no bottom and it is very unstable. Velcro tries to keep it together but it is not strong enough. The middle or basketball part is velcroed on both sides and falls if hit wrong, plus bottom of it has a 2 inch cross section which keeps it together but makes it hard to sleep in. Port holes are zipped and tied up if needed. I guess if it had a bottom and or was stronger built then it would be worth the price.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            Well it is not constructed well at all. I got this for our daughters 2nd bday & she loves it. But the front of the ship has to be velcor'd together & the sail/basket ball hoop also has to be velcor'd together so it stays up. And it is a real sheer material. Not the nylon I thought it would be. Would I buy it again no. Would I do my reasearch a lil better & buy a tent that was constructed a little better. But my daughter loves it. Too bad it will not hold up for long.
