With excellent posture support for infants and toddlers the Sealy Posture Perfect Crib Mattress offers the best! There are 180 strong, durability-tested interwoven coils that offer high-quality firmness that you can depend on. Two hypoallergenic layers cushion the core for lasting comfort on both sides. The cushioning is thick enough so your baby doesn't feel the coils. This uses resilient polyester without the questionable recycled clothing or carpeting sometimes found in other mattresses. The entire mattress passes state and flammability tests without the use of any flame retardants and passes all lead, phthalate and toxicity tests for extra safety. A reinforced waterproof cover uses lock-stitched waterproof protected edges so liquids won't seep through any cotton binding to cause odor or bacterial growth. Wipes clean with a damp cloth and is light enough to lift to change sheets. No small metal vents are punctured into the sides of the mattress; instead a vertical airflow pocket helps keep the mattress fresh.

All Sealy crib mattresses are GREENGUARD® Certified for Indoor Air Quality and even passes the more stringent Children & Schools Certification tests for a healthier sleeping environment for your baby.             This crib mattress is firm for my newborn and has a nice pattern on the cover, which is waterproof. Fit perfectly in our crib. My baby sleeps perfectly on this and since it is firm enough I have no worries. There is no coil feel like other mattresses I've read about so the padding feels cushioned. Great mattress, great brand, great price.

                We bought this at the closest Babies R Us store (20 miles away) when picking up our nursery furniture. As my husband was trying to get it out of it's plastic bag at home, we noticed that the side seam was ripped along the stitching. We returned it and did NOT exchange it (at our local Toy R Us store which did not have any mattresses left in stock!). I would never buy this one again, as it is designed to fall apart. The large seam stitching makes it perforated at the seam and it might as well say "Tear Here". Terrible quality for the [$] we spent on it. Now we have to wait until our next 20 mile (one way) trip to the Babies R Us store to personally inspect the quality of the other mattresses before purchasing a replacement. So frustrating!
