Lots of surprises and "How did it do that?" experiences. Not to mention the "Looks Gross, Tastes Great!" comes thru. Can't wait to pick up another for our kids for the holidays.

    I bought this for my 10 yr old son for Christmas. He and his siblings had great fun playing with it. The Mrs. told me to go online to find refills so I do and guess what I found...NONE!
    WHY on Earth would this company put out a product that uses consumables and NOT put out Refill Packs??? This is ridiculous. They do have Refill Packs for some of their other playsets but not all.
    I don't get it. Imagine if Mattel didn't offer refills for the Easy Bake Oven. It would probabaly not even be around any more. Heck, at least with the Easy Bake, you can come up with your own substitutions but not with Doctor Dreadful.

    I am VERY unhappy with this item ONLY because the lack of refills. I was going to give ONE Star but gave Two cause the kids really enjoyed it.

      My son (1st grade) loves this thing. Some of the candy is awful, but it doesn't really matter. Some of it is just kind of cool too. But, as other reviewers say...where the heck are the refills??????? I'm going to call spinmaster and find out.

      My son has fun with this, but it is very messy and requires constant adult supervision. The "candy" tastes disgusting - I likened the flavor to cough syrup, which I absolutely destest. The only reason I purchased this was because my son wrote a letter to Santa begging for it. I would not purchase again.

        My 5 year old got this from Santa and he loved it! It was easy to assemble and make the food. The stomach churner actually looks like things are coming to life! My son squealed with delight while doing his experiment.

              We tried one experiment. It was boring, and the mixture tasted horrible. My kids haven't touched it since the first experiment. It's cheaply made. What a waste of money. Way overpriced and boring. The instructions also say that some of the liquids can stain clothing and furniture.

                  This was the worst thong ever. Poorly made and constructed. The electronic part never worked and it was flimsy and fell apart a lot. The goo set quickly but was unappealing even to my 7 year old son. It was a Christmas present from his uncle and I feel bad since it was such a waste of money.

                          My 4 year old son was so excited when he got this for his birthday, but when we tried the recipies they left ALOT to be desired, the stomach stuff was powdery and Gross and the Instine mix left much to be desired, but the gummy eyes and lung bugs tasted pretty good kind of a berry flavor, by the time we got to that part though my son wouldnt even taste them due to the bad flavor of the rest.The only good thing I can say about this toy is it was fun to make and watch together.
