This was hands down the worst air hogs we've ever bought. It barely flew, and when it did, it was very sketchy to operate. At first we thought we just had a bad one; but after we took it back and got a second one, we realized that it was the design, and not an isolated issue.

Seriously, don't waste your money on this one. It is horrible at best.

Bought as a Christmas gift for grandson and it did not operate upon opening and inserting batteries. There is a communication gap between the remote and the helicopter. Will return item to store for credit.

this was a Christmas gift for 9yr old boys. it was ready to use right out of the box. all i had to add were the batteries. be sure to read the directions. it give some tips as to correct use of the buttons. the boys had it figured out rather quickly. it did just as advertised. as was expected, it was crashed several times. to my surprise it held up well. this is a great beginner RC. they played with it for hours. recharges quickly from the controller.
