    My son wanted this SO badly, after reading reviews I was hesitant, but figured it was worth a shot.
    It wasn't.
    We have used it 3 times and each time it has been a messy pain in the neck.
    Once you put the ice in it's impossible to put the stirrer in, and the top is hard to put on.
    I tried using less ice and that didn't help much either.
    It is very hard to crank initially (impossible for kids) and when it did loosen up after the ice melted a bit, you had to crank it for almost 25 minutes before any liquid started to freeze.
    All 3 times we used it the kids were bored with it before we even got the liquid frozen... so I was left there trying to make it work while they ran off an played.
    When it did finally freeze (not anything like the photos) the ice sticks to the walls and the excess liquid comes out of the dispenser and sides making a huge mess and wasting juice/soda.
    We were able to scrape some slush off the sides after disassembling the product... but it was not nearly enough for 2 kids.
    Don't waste your time, just use a blender!

        Product is very flimsy. Difficult for little ones (5 & 6 yrs) to operate. This was to be the "big" gift this Christmas. First thing mentioned when asked what they wanted for Christmas. Takes far too long to make slurpee and then it tastes awful. Don't buy it! You can do just as well and certainly faster with a blender.

            Santa left this toy for my son as it was one of the toys he wanted most. It took quite a bit of time to set up and once set up seemed like it wasn't going to make very much slurpee. I dislike that you have to use 6 tbsp of salt with this, to have to use 6 tbsp seemed a bit extreme but I went with it. After the suggested 5!!!! minutes of turning the lever to create the slurpee I opened the lever to release the slurpee and nothing but orange pop came flowing out and all over my table and floor.

            This toy is going back to the store today!!!!

                        This was totally not what I thought it would be. You can't make a slush when the product is all plastic. You have to have two people just to take turns in turning to make the ice. Not happy that I purchased this product.

                            Bought this for my grandchild for Christmas and even after 4 attempts, even changing soda's it still didn't work. It just was a soupy mess.

                                I purchased this 7-11 Slurpee Maker for my 5 yr old grandson, and put it together for him. It is so shabby, that even he didn't like it. I expected more for the money, and wouldn't advise anyone to purchase this item.
