        Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and daughter(9) wanted to show her bald is beautiful. This doll did the job perfectly. Made my daughter connect with grandmother, while giving my mom something to show off to her 'chemo buddies' which eases the tension. We actually got this one for my daughter and another one for my mom. They go everywhere with them.

        i purchased these dolls to donate to a childrens hospital to help kids have some one to play with that does not look like a supermodel or where all the focus is on hair and appearance. its whats inside that counts.having chemo and being bald for a yr is traumatic for a 50 yr old, let alone being a child. people do stare and point. hopefully these dolls can help heal a tiny bit of that hurt. but the love of family and friends heals the most.bless them all and a cure is coming...

          These dolls are awesome! So empowering for girls with alopecia or other forms of hair loss to have a doll that resembles them. Hopefully this will help to educate others about hair loss and make it more acceptable. Can't wait to receive them. Way to go Toys R Us!!!
