My 19 month old was given a kitchen for Christmas along with a grocery set for Hanukkah by each set of grandparents. She loved playing in the kitchen, but got very frustrated when she couldn't open the groceries and that there wasn't anything in them. At the same time, she has gotten very much into counting from one to ten. I saw this toy at a friends' house and we had to have it!

She doesn't really use the toy for counting very much at her age, but she loves opening the cans and using the food inside to serve real and imaginary people from her kitchen. The items are all rather large, even the beans, so we aren't worried about choking. The food is also quite sturdy and well designed.

This is a great toy!

Bought this for my daughter to learn counting I bought the learning resources Cupcakes and loved them and decided to buy these also they are a bit big and they are not made out of plastic like I thought they would be they are made out of cardboard but the play food inside is plastic so are the lids. Wish the cans were plastic but and smaller due to the fact I bought this to go with my daughters kitchen set but they are cute and worth the buy!!
