I think this car is cheaply built. Bought one for my son's 12th birthday, neat looking and fast. He had a lot of fun jumping it and spinning/drifting it. Battery charge only last 20 minutes but the manual says that. On the next day after only the third charge the transmission started acing up and shortly after the back left wheel stopped working and felt like it was no longer engaged in the transmission. I replaced the car under warranty and the 2nd one did the same thing after only 30 minutes of driving. I'm not at all happy with New Bright products at the moment.

Got this for my 9 year old son. He's had several other remote control cars before, but this is easily the most fun we've ever had with one and the best value. The design of this car is great - super light, plastic cover makes the car fast and fun to drive. Its the first car we've had in this price range that doesn't get stuck in the grass when it goes off road. Also, when it flips going over a jump, it often ends up on its wheels again because of the weight difference between top and bottom. The battery lasts plenty long enough for a fun session before needing a recharge.

Bought this for the frequency band so I could use it with other remote cars. Says is charges in one hour, but I could not get the car to run more that 5 minutes. By the third charge, I literally played with the car for 30 seconds before it started jerking like the battery was dead. Then I tried to call customer service on a weekday at 3pm, and the recording said they were closed. I won't by another new bright again.

the car will work on or off road but the steering is a let down, had to tweek the steering just to enjoy the car. the car is fast but after playing with it for a few days the drive system wore out and would not move it would just grind.

Nephew loved playing with it at baseball field. Lots of speed. He liked the fact he could do donuts. He kept it in the infield cause not suppose to go in grass. Kicking up dust, spinning tires. He loved the car. But it lost power after ten minutes of play. Took battery out and put it back in. He was good to go for another 5 minutes and it happened again. So decided to exchange it since he likes the car. Maybe had a faulty one. Replacement was doing great until it stopped turning. He was able to move forward and backwards but car just wouldn't turn. It was making noises that it wanted to turn, but no side to side movements. He got to play with first one 15 minutes. 2nd one for over an hour before the issue with the steering. 2 cars in 2 days. It has good range with the remote. I guess might have to get something else.

For the price, you won't find a better R/C. Charge time is relatively short (less than an hour), drive time is about 20 to 30 min. depending on how hard you work it. Pretty study...I've wrecked mine pretty good and other than a few scratches and a clip that popped off...its perfect. (kit contains extra clips). The only con is the turn radius. Other than that, its very fast and responsive, does well over dirt and hard surfaces. Not so well over grass, even if its cut short.

This far the best RC for your kids to enjoyed. Why because it faster then any other RC in that store. I have bought this for my Nephew Birthday present. Since he didnt like the one i got him,it was smaller and said it be faster but i wasnt and Due to the fact it was very slow and it bored him out. So i ended geting this because it was 12.8v! compare to a 6v slowest,9.6 medium slow and 12.8 fast enought, but to fast but great speed. Worth the purchase. Dont bother for anything else.
