        I bought one of these in-store. When I got it home, I opened it and read the instructions, which I found to be really vague. It said to insert the bubble fluid into "the spout," when there is more than one possible spout - and the correct one is very un-obvious. (When you tilt the head back, it's the lower one, which doesn't even look like a spout.) Anyway, after inserting the bubble fluid and batteries, I tried to use it. It made the mechanical whirring noise it's supposed to make, but it was very low-pitched like a tape player whose batteries are dying... and indeed, it acted like the brand new batteries died after a few minutes of use, and never actually made any bubbles. Tried more brand-new batteries, and still no dice. Worse, it started leaking all over the place. I returned it as defective, and as there were none left in the store but I really wanted to give it another try, bought two more online (they were buy one, get one half off). Got both of them to work fine, although one works much better than the other. The trick is to hold her tail down for about 30 seconds to coat the internal wand, then repeatedly and QUICKLY pump her tail to make her produce bubbles. Again, the included instructions are very vague about that part. But once I got ones that worked and figured out the trick, I found that they were actually pretty fun and adorable! It's just too bad the quality is inconsistent.

          My 3 year old bought this with her toys r us gift card. After we got the batteries in and put the bubble solution in, we pressed the button. All it did was make a bunch of noise while the bubble solution poured out of the bottom making a huge mess. Not one bubble ever came out... I went online and read all the reviews for this on several different websites and they all said the same thing happened with their own blower. Do not buy! Complete junk! I will be returning this tomorrow!

              This did not work at all, and I wasted two sets of batteries trying to get it to work. Each time it leaked bubble soap everywhere and shorted out the batteries.
