Kids received this as a gift for xmas. Just tried it for the first time. Followed the instructions exactly. Didn't shave anything and the "shaver" fell off the wheel. Don't buy. Nothing like the one I used to have years ago.

Forget any memories you have of a similar product when you were a kid, this is nothing like it. The company had shaved any usefulness out of this product by cutting corners to cut costs. you cannot get even one tiny tiny cup of ice out of this because the plastic is so flimsy that it falls apart after only a few turns. (and by turns I mean turns of the crank, not turns by the kids. excitement was quickly turned to tears.

The first time we used it, a piece of metal fell out in the ice! I was so sad, always wanted one as a kid and thought it would be fun to do with my own kids. I usually always review things before I buy. This time I got so excited when I saw this that I just got it. Big Mistake!!

My daughter received this as a gift, I noticed it was broken when we tried to assemble, I returned that one and the second one had a part that was cracked but should still function, however the part that shaves the ice did not. I will not be trying a third and will get something that my daughter can actually enjoy!

Purchased this for my Grandaughter for Christmas. My Daughter was excited to use it with her niece because she had one when she was little. You could not even move the crank in the back, and when you did you got very little shaved ice. I know things usually are not made the way they used to be but this is so cheaply made it is ridiculous. My Grandaughter was very disapointed.

I bought this for my daughter who was thrilled to receive a Snoopy Sno Cone maker. Once we put it together and tried it out I realized this wasn't going to be easy for her to use. It takes more effort and strength than most kids could offer with little reward. It does not produce much shaved ice and feels flimsy when cranking the handle to shave the ice. I ordered a different (automatic) snow cone maker for 10.00 more than the Snoopy Sno Cone maker and it works AMAZINGLY well. She can use it and it was well worth the extra 10 bucks.

The kids were excited to make sno cones, and it brought back memories as I had the same set when I was young. But this is NOT the same. The cutting blade is just slightly thicker than tin foil, and deformed and warped and became useless after the first time trying to use it. Totally useless. Nowhere near the quality as the original.

My kids begged for this machine. I was a little skeptical but since it was their money I let them get it. It has worked great. To be fair, we do use crushed ice from our ice maker but there are a few full sized cubes that sneak in there. We have had it for two years now and they love making snow cones in the summer for their friends. They even sold about 20 of them at a lemonade stand one day. Yes, it doesn't feel like the sturdiest piece of equipment and the handle has come off a couple of times but my kids don't seem to be upset about it.
