Comments about Step2 Home Depot Master Carpenter Project Kit:

I bought this for my 3-year-old grandson, and his twin sister likes it too. They both spend a lot of time attaching pieces together with the bolts and nuts. At their age you can't expect them to build the items pictured, but they're having fun and learning great skills. The pieces are made of a dense foam that's easy to handle and incapable of inflicting harm. I have just one small complaint--I wish that we could order some spare bolts so that they didn't have to disassemble one item to build another.
