Dr. Brown's Sterilizer is uniquely suited to fit Dr. Brown's Bottles. It sterilizes up to 4 bottles. It holds standard or wide neck bottles. The sterilizer is dishwasher safe, uses tap water and includes plastic tongs. This Bottle Brush has been designed for use with ALL Standard and Wide-Neck Dr. Brown's Natural Flow baby bottles. The Dr. Brown's Bottle brush features a combination sponge and bristle brush head for thorough, easy cleaning of all Dr. Brown's baby bottles. At the base of the Bottle Brush, there are fixed chevron channels, designed specifically to clean nipples with ease. The Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Microwave Steam Sterilizer Bags sterilizes parts from Dr. Brown's baby bottles, eliminating 99.9% of most household bacteria and germs. They are designed to fit all Dr. Brown's baby bottle parts, and they are perfect for steam cleaning while on the go or while traveling. Five sterilizer bags are included and each bag is reusable - up to 20 times. This offers moms 100 uses per retail pack.

There are books and websites that say that if you hand wash your bottles and accessories in really hot water you are fine. There are also books and websites that say that if you wash your bottles on the top rake of the dishwasher, they are fine. I can't deal hand washing my dishes in scalding hot water. My hands can't handle it. I have an issue with having my bottles in the dishwasher because unless my dishwasher is completely full, I won't run it. With bottles, it's easier to wash them right away then wait for a full rack.
This system is a blessing and really not time consuming at all. I use it not for only for my Mr. Brown bottles, but also my Medela breast pumping accessories. I bearly use the bags that came with it, because the instructions show how to set up the bottles and accessories in the steamer. I do use the bags when I go traveling through. Great product!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this! I am such a germ freak and I sterilize my son's bottles after every feeding. I feel like only washing them in the sink is not clean enough. Silly I know! It takes five minutes in the microwave, a lot faster than heating up a pot of water the old fashioned way! I like the sterilizer bags even more because they take a quick 90 seconds and you can use them up to 20 times a bag and put anything you want in them. I throw all of my breast pump pieces in here. I keep one in the diaper bag just in case we are out at a friend's house. (Neurotic I know!!!) Best gift ever and I am buying one for whichever friend gets pregnant next. :)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is wonderful! Its everything you need to take care of and clean your Dr. Brown bottles. Every morning I put every piece of all my Dr. Brown bottles in this with 6 ounces of water and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes (per the directions). I love it. Its easier ,simple and best part it sterilizes everything!
