Potty NOT for boys

We are in the process of training our youngest grandson. This potty chair is not meant for little boys. I don't understand how the guard was made without an indention. Poor little guy trys to go and it just splatters off the thick flat backed guard, all over him and the wall. It's making the whole process unpleasant for us all.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    After dealing with another potty chair that is absolutely useless in catching urine, I'd say this one is pretty good. I love the fact that it sings when my son goes to the bathroom, so I don't have to hover and stare to be sure to catch him going in order to give praise. The guard is also decent, if he's sitting straight. However, I have had a few times that the pee has leaked from the front, but it's usually when he's peeing off at some weird angle. When he sits correctly, I haven't had any problems. It's probably not the best chair on the market, but I'm not getting rid of it like the other one I own. It's definitely do-able. (And if you have a girl, like my sister does, she recommends getting the green version, as the pink one doesn't have a guard and girls sometimes manage to fire off in random directions when they really have to go.)

        This potty has been a good motivator for our son to learn how to pee on the potty because it plays music when he uses it. As the one who's responsible for cleaning it, I can't say anything positive about this potty. It frequently leaks out the front when he pees. I will not be saving this for his brother to use. I'd spend your money on a better potty chair.
