      I set it up exactly as the directions stated, exact height and all, and it doesn't work 50% of the time.

          This is a terrible product. The black tracks that come with this set are not as flexible as the normal Hot Wheels tracks and cannot be made into a loop. We tried using the orange tracks from another set to form the loop, but even so, the train could not make the loop or the jump. The stickers started peeling off immediately. My son was very disappointed and I ended up bringing the product back.

              Comments about Mattel 1001134 Hot Wheels Railroad Rampage Track Set:

              The stickers don't line up perfectly on this product, and if you are like me, then it will bother you. The bigger issue is that the train falls off the track most of the time and is a big disappointment for the kids. This item has to be set up in an EXACT angle in order for it to work. It is a toy for kids - the parent should not have to hold the track, in precise measurements, in order for it to work each time.
              It would have been a great toy if it worked easily enough for the age that is recommended on the box.

                    We purchased for my 4 yr old son because he loves trains & hot wheels. He was so disappointed. The train travels to the diverter switch and derails. If it makes it past that point, it goes to the loop and stops. It does not get enough speed to make it around the loop. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
