    The directions are not as clear as they could have been (the labels on the parts were not the same as in the instructions), but it still didn't take too long to assemble. The only real problem I have are that my 14 month old cannot get into and out of the ball pit area on his own. This is a big disappointment, since the main reason I bought this was because the ball pit area was not inflatable (we have had issues with our inflatable ones getting popped too easily and wanted an alternative). The ages listed were 12-36 months, but I am not sure how they expect a 12 month old to get in and out of it either. He loves the slide though. Maybe in a few months he can manuever himself into and out of the pit?

      Our kids loved this from age 1 til age 5 they played in this. It became many different things (hideout, fort, etc.) as they grew older and their imaginations grew.
