My daughter (4 1/2) had been wanting a scooter for awhile, so she ended up getting this one with some money she had earned. Most of her friends have the Mini Kick or Maxi Kick Scooter that have been all the rage around here. This scooter is MUCH cheaper and, in my opinion, better. It has the lean-to-stear technology like her friends' scooters, but the handle bar goes up and down to accommodate different size kids, so her sister (2 1/2) can even try riding it. There is metal under the plastic footboard that makes it seem stronger than her friends' (I think their scooter footboard is just plastic) and you can take the handle bar out if need be for travel ( I haven't taken it out, but it is locked in with a button that I believe I can just push to remove it). My daughter figured out the lean-to-stear technology pretty quickly and I am impressed with this purchase.
They are not stocked at a lot of Toys R Us stores, which is a shame, but we found it at one so we could try it before buying it. We also tried a Minnie Mouse lean-to-stear scooter, but it was much tougher to lean on and the handle bar wasn't adjustable.

This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old grand daughter. A few days after Christmas the brake completely broke in half. WHY? It is made of plastic!! Now why would Radio Flyer make a brake on a razor scooter out of plastic? VERY poorly designed.

Great product. Very well built, sturdy, strong enough to hold my 200 lbs but easily manageable for my 4 yr old girl. Her twin brother had a Kickboard USA scotter that cost $85 but was same style with 2 wheels in the front. This is better quality and much better price. 2 wheels in front is key for balance & to keep kids in the 3-5 yr old type age range from falling. Lean to stear is tight at 1st, but loosens up after a few uses. She's been riding it for months. No falls, no breaks, all good. Been thru a few different 1's and this is the best for young ones hands down, boy or girl version.

I have just bought this product for my 3 year old daughter. It is SUPER cute and easy for her to use, except for the steering. The "lean to steer" aspect of the scooter is probably going to be a deal breaker for her. The wheels are excellent, and I love the adjustable handlebar height. I am disappointed because I really thought this was perfect for her, but I don't see her mastering leaning anytime in the next year or two, plus the wheels don't hardly turn very sharply even when I lean into it.
